Sometimes it’s time to sit back and appreciate the things that enjoy everyday – and don’t think about. Typically, I do this when I no longer have it. For instance, yesterday morning I got up and everything was blurry – even with my glasses on.
Yeah, scary.
Diabetes? Brain tumor???? What is going on now? Looks like it’s my sinuses that are so inflamed (from a bad infection) that the tissues are actually pushing on the optic nerve – at least that’s what I hope.
So here are to the things that I love every day – that sometimes I don’t think about.
- A clean playroom with a clean floor – so rare in my house
- a beautiful night sky
- The ability to take over my children’s education. To be able to teach them the way I see fit (based on the old school methods)
- The ability to stay home – teach them right from wrong, good from bad- care for – and have influence over my children
- My kids
- Sleeping kids
- Laughing 2-toothed kids
- My website – which is an absolute blessing from On-High
- The ability to worship in the way I see fit for myself and my children
- The ability to stand on two feet, and walk without hindrance
- Easter flowers from my husband
- A beautiful princess who loves pink
- My son looking like a model
- Raiding the Easter Basket at 3 in the morning. I really need to stop that or I will have Diabetes
- Two loads of CLEAN laundry. That’s 2 loads less than the 10 or so I have to do
- Waking up and being able to see this beautiful world – clearly
These are the things that make me smile, laugh out loud, and relish in love.
